Five complete strangers board a NYC subway car, each in a rush to his or her next destination. When the train stalls in a tunnel, the passengers find themselves locked in the car together, trapped along with a mysterious homeless man. As time passes, the emotions and stories of the confined strangers emerge through song. Over the course of their time together, not only are the passengers forced to face each other, but also to face something significant in their own lives. Thoughts, lives, and opinions change in the span of the few hours on this particular day, this particular subway, with this particular homeless man, stuck.
