MUSIC AT THE FESTIVAL

NVFF is proud to announce its third consecutive year of partnering with IVY HILL ENTERTAINMENT to put on a mini music festival within the film festival. Each year, IVY HILL ENTERTAINMENT’s select group of local and independent musicians add the perfect mood and energy to our Special Events, Parties, and Wine Pavilions.

SPECIAL EVENT PERFORMANCES

After a full day of film screenings and wine pavilions, the lights dim and the bands hit the stage in full force. If the nightlife is what you’re after, we’ve got you covered. Dance the night away at the Festival Gala to the funky sounds of The Family Funktion. Members of our VIP Patron Circle can look for more intimate performances at our exclusive VIP parties, such as the Opening Night Patron Circle Party, the A-List Dinner Party, and Film Industry Mixer.

MISSION

Ivy Hill Entertainment’s (IHE) mission is to create paths for musicians to develop their craft and earn a living through the support of their community. We do this by creating spaces for collaboration and participation, providing practical mentorship and resources, and developing systems of patronage through private and public event performances.

IVY HILL COLLECTIVES

Many of our bands operate as collectives, that is they are groups of 10+ musicians that we mix and match into different band units based around particular aesthetics or genres. It creates a sense of community and shared experience, as the individual musicians within these groups all have original projects and groups of their own. We’d like to posture the Farmstead Wine Pavilion as our Harvest Acoustic (bluegrass/folk) collective stage and the Napa Wine Pavilion as our The Delectables (jazz) stage. There’s an opportunity to tell the story of a lot of local musicians under the umbrella of these collectives.
